home tour: travel inspired guest bedroom

Our guest bedroom used to be inhabited by a good friend of ours that has lived with us on and off over the years. She loves traveling and adventures so it seemed appropriate that when redecorating this room we went with a travel theme. In addition to the typical travel themed items like maps and postcards, we decided this room would be a good place to also display some of our favorite finds from our own travels!

Map: we found on our way home from our honeymoon at a junk shop in Salem, North Carolina and use it to pin all the places we have traveled

Ohio Love Print: created by Igloo Letterpress, purchased at Dabble & Stitch

Wall lamp: Lowe's.

Fun finds from our travels & adventures at random shops and sales around the Midwest.

One of my favorite items is the old Kutztown Bottling Works bottle that we found in Tennessee. Kutztown is a small town in eastern Pennsylvania where my mother, sister, and I lived for about 2 years while in elementary school.
