quick & crafty: scrap fabric flags

Last week we shared baby m's shower filled with lots of handmade party decorations including these little fabric flags made with scraps of leftover fabric in a variety of fun prints! They are super simple, fun to make and perfect to add to the tops of cupcakes or sticking up from a grouping of straws. Make a few in just a few minutes for your next party!

Supplies:

-scrap fabric

-small dowel rod or skewer cut into short pieces

-scissors

-peel and stick fabric tape

Instructions:

1. Cut fabric into a long rectangle for the flag

2. Cut a piece of peel and stick fabric tape to the length of your rectangle and remove the backing

3. Place your dowel rod in the middle and fold the fabric over to create the flag

If you want the pendant style look you can cut a small triangle out of the end of the fabric

That's it! Create a few in various shapes, sizes and fabrics!
