quick & crafty: tied fabric garland

As you probably know by now, I really enjoy easy colorful holiday crafting- especially a cute little bunting or garland. I always have tons of scrap fabric lying around, and saw this super cute long fabric garland at the local sewing shop that inspired this easy little Valentine's day decor project. After gathering some scraps and cutting them down to strips (or used the lop sided leftovers cut into small thinner pieces- it's okay if they aren't perfect, it makes it prettier!), I tied them to my rickrack piece evenly spaced. You could also go with a thick gathered look and tie multiple strips all close together. Whatever you fancy. But such an easy way to add a little colorful cheer to your holiday and also repurpose your scraps!
