It's officially December and Christmas is in just a few weeks (holy crap)! So it's about time I shared our styled shoot from the Home Depot Holiday Style Challenge! I was trilled when Home Depot asked me to participate, especially as this Holiday season is extra special now that we are a family of three. For this project we decorated the our new family room with loads of homespun decorations and DIYs. I wanted to go for a handcrafted, kid friendly feel to stay consistent with our family room space (our front living room gets the works with the real tree and vintage ornaments). We made these great wood shim Christmas trees that are totally Evan proof and styled a fun bottle brush terrarium station for old kids to put together their own decorations or gifts. Check out the full project over on the Home Depot Blog and see more Holiday inspiration here.
Also a special thanks to Taylor with Inkwell & Co. for the awesome chalkboard art (and turning it around so quickly!) and to Kiel for putting up with all my ridiculous requests and helping me turn our house into Christmas in September :)
