I have a love/hate relationship with most of my plants. Mostly because I am terrible at keeping them alive. I pick the worst spots for them (because shapes & placement based on my decor is much better than putting a plant in a place where it will receive adequate light!) and I always forget to water them. I have a real black thumb. But after a lengthy conversation with the lovely greenhouse lady at our local nursery, I am finally ready to try things again. I picked up this awesome fiddle fig for the new family room. It's a little short and I wanted to boost it up a little bit so I created this cute little walnut & gold midcentury inspired plant stand for the corner. Check out the full instructions over on The Nest.
