To start off the new year right, we decided to get our office space in order. We had had our previous office in one of the upstairs bedrooms, but realized after sometime that this made the office feel somewhat unaccessible. With some big goals for 2014, we needed a more functional and usable space. Our front mudroom has a hodge podge of storage and basically a handy landing space for junk. With a nice desk and storage shelving already in place, it made the perfect space for our new easily accessible office.
We use the built in shelving for files, books, and our printer that previously lived in the basement. We also added in an extra shelf above the cork board for more filing.
We cleared up our cork board to use more intentionally. Previously we were using it as an inspiration board, but decided to make it a project board- a place where we can keep track of our current tasks.
We are super happy with how functional and organized this place has become. After hours of work sorting through files, reorganizing, and splurging on some organizers, this space turned out better than expected! A place where we don't mind doing a little extra work after work!
