There is nothing better than the impromptu Sunday dinner with family and friends! Sunday dinner is the perfect time to take a break, relax, recharge, and let it all go before jumping into another crazy busy work week.
With the centerpieces with clover flowers picked from the yard, the table was set with a mish mash of available dishes and glasses, and an assortment of fabric napkins & utensils. Put together last minute and bringing in an eclectic feel
Here was our menu:
1. Lemon Sage Chicken (20 minutes total)
2. White Truffle Mac & Cheese (60 minutes total with baking- we also make ours in cast iron of course)
3. Ranch Mashed Potatoes (30 minutes total- your basic favorite mashed potatoes with fat free ranch added in for flavor meaning you can cut your milk & butter in half)
4. Rocket Salad (10 minutes- Arugala, heirloom tomatoes, onions, & feta) with Lemon Vinaigrette
For dessert we threw some brownie mix brownies in the oven while eating so they were fresh out of the over when we were finished. We paired the brownies with fresh strawberries & ice cream.
In good company, a perfect way to end a weekend!
