Need an easy way to spruce up your table for spring (yes I know I am a bit early but I really can't wait any longer)? I love love love succulents and they are super easy to take care of so I tend to keep them on hand in my garden area. This rustic spring table setting was created with a variety of succulents, my mismatched thrifted or collected plates, silverware, and glasses. I tied it all together with these great handcrafted neutral napkins from West Elm (the only thing I purchased for this table setting).
Placeholders- I placed a variety of succulents in mini terra cotta pots I thrifted a few years ago. Similar ones can be found at your local craft store and left outside in the dirt a few weeks to add a bit of patina. Small succulents (2") can stay in their containers and should fit easily into the terra cotta pots. A quick & crafty DIY to come soon on the easy way to create the place cards.
Centerpiece- the centerpiece was created with larger succulents (Aloe & Jade) as well as a terrarium spaced on an old piece of skinny board. At the ends I used a set of antiqued artichoke like candle sticks holders with these great green taper candles from the Anthro clearance rack I picked up a few months ago. Here is a similar set on etsy.
You can't go wrong using what you have and just adding a bit of greenery for a fun spring table! Now if only it will warm up so we can take this party outside!
